نائب برلماني يطالب بإعادة تقييم نظام الإيجار التمليكي لحماية المواطنين

تقدّم النائب أيمن محسب وكيل لجنة الشئون الاقتصادية بـ مجلس النواب المصري بطلب إحاطة إلى رئيس المجلس هشام بدوي موجّه إلى مجلس الوزراء المصري و وزارة الإسكان والمرافق والمجتمعات العمرانية مطالبًا بضرورة إعادة تقييم وتنظيم نظام "الإيجار التمليكي" محذرًا من تحوّله إلى عبء مالي وقانوني على المواطنين بدلًا من كونه وسيلة لتيسير الحصول على السكن.

وأوضح محسب أن التوسع في طرح وحدات سكنية بنظام الإيجار التمليكي يستدعي مراجعة دقيقة لهذا النموذج مشيرًا إلى وجود إشكاليات قد تؤثر على العدالة التعاقدية وشفافية الالتزامات المالية إضافة إلى ضرورة ضمان حماية حقوق المستهلكين.

A Member of Parliament Calls for a Reassessment of the Rent-to-Own System to Protect Citizens

MP Ayman Mohasseb, Deputy Chairman of the Economic Affairs Committee in the Egyptian House of Representatives, submitted a request for information to Speaker Hisham Badawi, addressed to the Egyptian Cabinet and the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, demanding a reassessment and regulation of the "rent-to-own" system. He warned that it is becoming a financial and legal burden on citizens instead of a means of facilitating access to housing.

Mohasseb explained that the expansion of housing units offered under the rent-to-own system necessitates a thorough review of this model, pointing to existing problems that could affect contractual fairness and the transparency of financial obligations, in addition to the need to ensure the protection of consumer rights.
